What are the fees associated with investing in a Bitcoin ETF with StashAway?

When you invest in our Bitcoin ETF Portfolio, you'll only ever encounter the following fees:

  1. StashAway Management Fee: A single ETF portfolio with StashAway, such as the Bitcoin ETF Portfolio, has a management fee of 0.3% p.a. Our annual management fee for portfolios with multiple ETFs ranges between 0.2% p.a. and 0.8% p.a. There's no minimum investment amount and no subscription, switching, or rebalancing fees. We apply a currency conversion spread of 0.29% for USD based portfolios which includes the underlying fee of our FX vendor. This spread is the lowest you'll find, beating out banks, brokerages and digital FX providers. Learn more about our pricing here. 
  2. ETF Expense Ratio: This is an annual fee charged by the fund manager (Fidelity®) to cover the costs of operating the ETF, such as managing the underlying Bitcoin holdings and administrative expenses. The expense ratio for the Fidelity® Wise Origin® Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) is 0.25% p.a.

The StashAway management fee is deducted from your account balance on a monthly basis. The ETF expense ratio is already reflected in your returns.
